Welcome to DeepHouseDetroit.com Written by Craig    Thursday, 25 January 2007 Welcome to DeepHouseDetroit.com (beta).  This is a site based around the Deep House community of Detroit and more.   The reason why the site is in "beta" mode, so to speak, is because this is just the first step of the site and we plan to make it grow into a bigger and better website, but it takes time.  That being said, we do already have some features that we think the deep house community would find useful... First and foremost, we have a public forum where people can discuss music or whatever they like.**  Promoters can post their upcoming events in the forum's calendar and in the forums. We have uploaded a photo gallery to the site to show pictures of the events that happen around town. We have a Classifieds section where members can buy, trade, or sell music or gear. We also have an area where you can stream mixes of different house DJ's from around the world.  The list rotates, so if you are a deep house DJ, be sure to send us a mix and if we like it, we will put it on the site so people can listen to it. **When you sign up to the forums, you will be sent an activation e-mail sent to the e-mail address that you provided when you registered to the site.  You MUST click the link in that e-mail to activate your account or you will not be able to post in the forums or post classified ads.
